IAPSC at Air Quality Emissions Show, Thursday 22 November
Have you booked your place yet?
The IAPSC team at Ricardo Energy & Environment are very pleased to announce that we will be teaming up with the Air Quality & Emissions Show (AQE) again, for a joint AQE and IAPSC event, at the Telford International Conference Centre on Thursday 22 November 2018.
The 10th Air Quality & Emissions Show – an international air quality and emissions conference and exhibition – will focus on industrial air emissions and stack monitoring of (Part A) processes regulated by the Regulators of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, ambient air quality monitoring, the emissions to air of Part A2 and Part B processes controlled by local authorities and SEPA, MCERTS standards and all aspects of air quality monitoring, protection and treatment. The AQE Show will be of direct interest to visitors and delegates from all industries who need updates on legislation, new products and monitoring processes.
What are the benefits?
By teaming up with the AQE Show in this way, IAPSC delegates can visit two events in one day – at no extra cost – the price will be the usual IAPSC delegate fee. There will be time in the lunch and refreshment breaks, and before/after the conference, to visit the exhibitions.
What will be the theme of the IAPSC Event?
The themes of the day will cover:
- An update on sensor-based air quality monitoring techniques – speakers are: Dr Mikko Laakso, (Vaisala Oyj) and Brian Stacey (Ricardo Energy & Environment)
- Green infrastructure and its potential role in LAQM: what is, and isn’t, useful – speakers are: Dr James Levine (University of Birmingham) and Prof. David Fowler (Air Quality Expert Group).
- Engaging the public – and particularly young people – with air quality – speakers include Aare Puussaar (Newcastle University), and a speaker from the National Centre for Atmospheric Science.
- See the Provisional Agenda (PDF) for more information about the sessions and speakers
At the Telford International Centre, Telford, Shropshire. The venue is just over a mile away from Telford’s main rail station: there will be a free shuttle bus to and from the station at the beginning and end of the day. There is also plenty of free on-site parking.
