Lisa has over 14 years’ experience in ecological consulting, project management, ecological surveys and assessments. Through her career she has developed specific technical and applied expertise in habitat management, restoration, creation and ecological mitigation from concept to detailed design for a range of habitats. As Head of Department for Habitat Creation and Ecological Contracting for Ecosulis she managed three teams across the country delivering practical and consulting projects from small pond restoration and ecological mitigation works (including EPS license mitigation) to large scale lake restoration schemes. Her key experience includes team and account/project management, business development, tender writing and auditing tenders/reports, accounts and financial forecasting, technical input and auditing and delivered technical training sessions. Lisa’s started her career surveying and assessing river habitats and then worked for nine years in Ecological Consultancy, developing extensive experience in managing ecological and contracting projects for a wide range of sectors throughout the UK. The role involved surveying and ecological assessments for a range of protected and notable habitats and species, including NVC botanical surveys, Phase I (PEA), River Habitats Surveyors, badger, otter, bats, reptiles, amphibians and white-clawed crayfish, as well as being an Ecological Clerk of Works.
