Hannah Lawrie has 18 years' experience as a waste management consultant focusing on the development and procurement of waste services and infrastructure.
For the first 5 years of her career, Hannah provided project management and technical advisory support to landfill infrastructure development and ongoing maintenance in Ireland and New Zealand.
Over the last 13 years, and on returning to the UK, she has assisted in the procurement and delivery of numerous waste contracts including:
- waste collection and recycling
- street cleansing
- grounds maintenance
- materials recovery facilities (MRFs)
- anaerobic digestion (AD)/in-vessel composting (IVC)
- household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) and
- residual waste treatment services and infrastructure.
Hannah has a significant track record of waste service options appraisals, service review, service enhancement, business case development, specification design, contract procurement advice, tender evaluation, competitive dialogue and contract negotiation.
This includes project management of major procurement projects from single service to integrated service delivery using Open, Restricted, Competitive Dialogue and Competitive Dialogue with Negotiation procedures.
