Ben is a Technical Business Manager in Ricardo’s Air Quality & Environment Practice, leading Ricardo's international air quality work and an environmental policy team . Ben has extensive experience in the delivery, management and direction of high profile and high value consultancy projects for public and private sector clients concerning environmental policy, with particular expertise in air quality, emissions, climate change, chemicals and industrial pollution control policy. Clients include the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, European Commission, European Chemicals Agency, national Government Departments and agencies, industry (individual companies and trade bodies) and NGOs. Ben joined Ricardo Energy & Environment from Amec Foster Wheeler where he managed the company’s Environmental Policy and Economics Team. Prior to joining Amec Foster Wheeler, Ben worked as a Policy Advisor on transport and industrial-related policy and technology in the Air Quality Division at the UK Environment Ministry (DEFRA).
