He worked with Kraft to secure a sustainable route for recovering value from a critical waste stream and has gone on to work on air quality, odour and environmental risk issues for businesses in the dairy, farming, poultry products, meat processing, and rendering industries..

Jeremy Wiltshire is an expert in the environmental impacts of farming systems. His research and consultancy work has included crop production in relation to biodiversity, and assessment and mitigation of life cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from farm-produced commodities. Recognising that GHG emissions from farm products is a major contributor to food carbon footprints, Jeremy has helped companies with agricultural supply chains to manage risk by assessing, benchmarking and mitigating their supply-chain GHG emissions.

Emelia Holdaway has 16 years of experience in sustainability, including four years as corporate sustainability director for a larger consumer-facing industrial business, providing her with a hands-on understanding of the sustainability challenges faced by large corporates. She is an experienced workshop facilitator and has a solid grounding in change management, supplier engagement techniques and carbon accounting, including product carbon footprinting and Scope 3 emissions accounting. She has been involved in the development of several WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol Standards, sitting on the Technical Working Groups for the Product Carbon Footprinting, Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Accounting and Green Power Accounting Standards.

Simon Gandy is a Principal Consultant for Modelling work within Ricardo Energy & Environment’s Resource Efficiency and Waste Management team. Simon has over 14 years of experience in packaging, Life Cycle Assessment and carbon footprinting.
Simon has worked extensively on packaging projects throughout his environmental career, including performing annual calculations for the House of Fraser, the John Lewis Partnership, Waitrose, Ocado and Jim Beam, to determine each company’s obligations under the UK’s packaging regulations.
Simon has also audited operations and compliance with packaging regulations for the British Plasterboard Group, which included training key staff members to improve corporate governance. For Pfizer, and later Boston Scientific, Simon managed work to report on the packaging regulations across the European Member States.
Simon has completed a wide range of client projects on product policy including Defra and the European Commission.
For a multinational brewer, he developed a tool for calculating the carbon footprinting of manufacturing and distributing a range of beer brands across Europe.
